<description>"HEY MOM! LOOK WHAT FOLLOWED ME HOME! CAN I KEEP THEM?''

"NO!" came the staunch and dreaded reply.

'"WHY NOT?" I asked almost crying. "THEY LIKE ME!"I whimpered, kinda.

"BECAUSE THEY SMELL FUNNY!" she bellowed from the laundry room.

Well, she had that right but I have to admit that these two guys are amazing. I'm not one to open my door to just any Otter that happens to be wandering through the kelp bed. No sireee! But when you see the ear to ear smiling faces of these two simply because offered them refuge for a night you can't possibly turn them down. I didn't want them to leave!!!

Brett &#38; Jerry,
I offer my sincerest thanks for allowing me to be apart of your great journey and life!

Hope to see you soon,

<description>A minor correction, this was posted by Patrick Martin. I can see how it must be difficult to keep track of all the names of the people you meet when every day brings a variety of new friends.

It was a pleasure spending a few hours paddling with you guys. An if I had known I was about to meet you I would have more to offer you than just a beer.

Looking forward to our next meeting.
